Baylor Line & Online Publications

The Baylor Line--whose name is taken from a phrase in the school song--was launched in October 1946 after what was then called the Baylor Ex-Students Association was established as an independently governed organization. Since that time, the Line has achieved a remarkable record of success in supporting Baylor University by strengthening the bonds between Baylor alumni and their alma mater.

Published by the separately chartered Baylor Alumni Association, the Line is empowered by its editorial independence to achieve excellence in reporting and alumni relations. The magazine's contents reflect the full range of alumni interests and concerns, from balanced coverage of controversial campus issues to news of former classmates' activities, providing readers with a uniquely candid, entertaining, and informative mix of stories. The only guaranteed way to receive all four issues a year is to become a member of the Baylor Alumni Association, although the magazine is, at times, mailed to non-members as a service to the Baylor community.

Launched in the summer of 2001, the monthly online newsletter Between the Lines is sent to an audience of 74,000 readers. The same folks who bring you the award-winning Baylor Line magazine will send you a monthly e-mail with links to great campus and alumni stories. And Between the Lines is free for the asking. The newsletter is sent to all alumni with an e-mail address, even alums who aren't active members of the alumni association.

Baylor Line News was created in 2007 to enable more frequent and streamlined communication between the Baylor Alumni Association and the membership of the alumni association. Currently sent only to members of the Baylor Alumni Association, Baylor Line News helps the Baylor community stay up to date with all the latest happenings at Baylor and your alumni association through timely, quick-read stories.

You can read through the issues of all three publications by clicking on the links to the left. If you have a story idea, class note, or address update to send in, please click on "Feedback" to submit them online. We want to hear from you!
